eLearning for international tour operators and travel agency staff

The eLearning tool "Going Cuckoo" helps employees of international tour operators and travel agencies to deepen their knowledge of Baden-Württemberg. The aim is to strengthen the product knowledge of travel agents outside Europe so that they can inform their customers more broadly about Baden-Württemberg as a travel destination.

3 highlights in brief

To liven up the training, sound files with typical words from Baden-Württemberg have been integrated. During the training, graduates not only learn where the Black Forest and Swabian Alb are located, but also how to pronounce them in German.

As part of the cooperation, the Going Cuckoo eLearning was integrated into the Travel Agent Academy, one of the most interactive, efficient travel agent training programmes in the US travel industry.

In 2016, Going Cuckoo was upgraded to CEUS-recognised training by The Travel Institute. After successfully completing the training, certified travel agents in the USA received 5 of the 10 annual Continuing Education Units they need to maintain their certification status.
