Digital discovery tour through Endingen

There is probably no other town in the Kaiserstuhl region that is as diverse as Endingen. Those who live here or visit the town will experience a lively, historic town centre and three picturesque winegrowing villages in the midst of a wonderful landscape. In the south, the vineyards of the Kaiserstuhl border directly on Endingen, while in the north, countless fruit trees form the transition to the Rhine plain.

The town of around 10,500 inhabitants on the Kaiserstuhl has a lot to offer: Buildings worth seeing such as the 400-year-old Kornhaus with the Kornhalle, which is now home to the town council, the historic town hall, the Königschaffhauser Tor, affectionately known as the "Torli", the Üsenberger Hof and the imposing town churches are just some of the buildings in Endingen, which was characterised by the rule of the Austro-Hungarian Empire for centuries.

In order to increase the digital visibility of the "Städtli", MAQNIFY has worked with the town of Endingen to design a digital tour of the town, which was previously available as an analogue flyer. Our innovative solution makes it possible to start the digital city tour through Endingen via specially designed signs with QR codes. This information concept allows locals and visitors to explore the town's many attractions in a modern and interactive way.

In the future, the digital offering will also be expanded to include an audio tour.

In October 2023, the MAQNIFY team started with the initial set-up of the digital city tour. Selected colleagues from the local tourist office then began familiarising themselves with the MAQNIFY© CMS. The knowledge gained from onboarding and the manual provided can be used to ensure that the digital offer is optimally utilised and supplemented. With the QR codes of the 17 POIs (points of interest) for the city tour, which can be exported directly from the MAQNIFY© CMS, high-quality signage elements were designed and produced, which now also draw attention to the digital offer in the cityscape.
