Relaunch of the eLearning Logbook International online

The Hamburg Metropolitan Region commissioned the bidding consortium consisting of TourComm, the DSFT and Lydia Albers 2020 with the implementation of the tourism flagship project "Welcome to the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. Together internationally - qualification, skills development and international positioning". As part of work package 4, TourComm worked on the relaunch of the eLearning platform and the integration of new features.

The new LOGBUCH INTERNATIONAL knowledge platform is designed to train service providers in international service quality. In addition to comprehensive information on the various source markets, it also offers participants the opportunity to check their level of knowledge using a quality check and to compile their own personal handbook with the most important information.

Components of the tool

TourComm developed a filterable PDF generator to cater for a wide range of target groups and also make the information available in print. All website content can be filtered by topic and sector, downloaded and printed.

TourComm created various comic-style explanatory videos for the information tool to summarise important facts briefly and to the point.

The question here is "Are you fit for the international guest?". The participants' offers and services are put to the test in 12 steps. At the end there is an evaluation with tips and links to further information.

The Marketing section contains valuable statistics on international visitors to the Hamburg Metropolitan Region in the form of infographics. The data is taken from the GNTB's annual reports and is updated regularly.
