InstaMeet Ferienland Cochem

TourComm organised a 3-day InstaMeet on behalf of the Ferienland Cochem tourist information office. The project essentially comprised the assistance and coordination of the programme, the search for 5 German-speaking travel bloggers, the on-site travel support as well as the reporting and follow-up.

Highlights

  1. Identification of suitable travel bloggers
    Carrying out extensive research to find people who both appeal to an active young target group and have a high affinity for travelling, photography and, in particular, outdoor, culture and wine/enjoyment.
  2. Selection of participants
    After a thorough review of the social media presences and their relevance to InstaMeet Cochem, suitable travel bloggers with the potential to present Cochem to a broad target group were selected in close consultation with the client.
  3. Organisation of the blogger trip
    The planning and organisation took place in close cooperation with Ferienland Cochem. This included the booking of accommodation, transport, catering and the creation of a varied travel programme.
  4. Accompaniment on site
    During the InstaMeet, the participants were accompanied by a TourComm employee on site and supported in discovering the best photo spots and insider tips and in fully savouring their experiences in Cochem.
  5. Evaluation and analysis
    At the end of the InstaMeet, a comprehensive evaluation of the content generated and the reach of the various types of posts on different channels was carried out to measure success.
  6. Creation and dispatch of a press release
    Following the InstaMeet, a detailed press release was created and sent to relevant media. This press release summarised the highlights of the trip, provided information about the successful collaboration and emphasised the reach of the bloggers involved in order to further increase the visibility of Cochem as an attractive travel destination

Conclusion

The InstaMeet has brought a number of benefits to the holiday destination of Cochem, including increased online visibility, an extended reach and high-quality visual material for marketing the region. These positive effects support the positioning of Cochem as an attractive destination for a young audience and arouse the interest of travellers. We are proud to have contributed to the successful realisation of this project and look forward to more exciting projects in the future.
