Our team is made up of tourism marketing experts. We understand tourism and focus on creating and implementing solutions that are appropriate for the respective market – be it a foreign or a regional market, or even stakeholders, both internal and external – and also for you. We do this with a great sense of pride and an eye for detail. And that’s a promise.
Since we hold this to be true, we have built a large network of partners. This gives you access to a treasure trove of experts including developers, VR designers, illustrators, photographers, audio specialists and many, many more. We are the ones who pull the strings, providing the resources you need to address both your target market and your target audience, ultimately delivering success.

So, who are we that make up the TourComm team actually? We are a close-knit group of tourism communication experts. We can certainly do marketing and PR for companies in the tourism sector. But we are well aware that it’s all in the mix. What unites us is a burning passion for destination marketing, and what differentiates us is the diversity of skills we possess. This is why we’re able to devise just the right strategy for our clients. We’re a one-stop shop – we pool our resources to produce unerring and individual solutions.
After more than 10 years at MAQNIFY and two years managing TourComm together with Mike, Dominic took the reins of TourComm at the beginning of 2024. He is interested in anything that’s new, innovative or simply digital. The self-proclaimed ‘Lord of the Brown Signs’ aims to visit all the destinations thus signposted with his family. In his free time, he cycles through the Black Forest, the Kaiserstuhl hills and Alsace in the saddle of his trusty mountain bike.
Having joined TourComm in September 2023, Claudia is getting to grips with the intricacies of the accounting software while familiarising herself with the other areas of the company. She is passionate about all things equestrian and enjoys spending her free time with her family and Max, her horse. She spent quite a few years working in a travel agency and even lived in North Carolina, USA, for a time. Her motto is: The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
Laura swapped standing behind a four-star hotel’s reception desk with sitting at a TourComm desk a few years ago. Her command of French made development of the French market the obvious choice for her. At home she does e-sport and at work e-marketing and e-learning, putting her affinity for technology to good use in a number of areas including explainer videos, digital learning content and content management for the MAQNIFY© Erlebnisguide (experience guide).
Marc was predestined for a career in travel and developed a taste for marketing while reading for his bachelor’s degree. He has been a project manager, primarily for inbound marketing projects, at TourComm since February 2021. He is currently completing a part-time master’s degree. It’s challenging, but there’s not a hint of regret.
After more than 15 years in IT and global service for high-end devices, Kurt moved to Com-Unic®, formerly TourComm’s language service provider, which TourComm then acquired in 2019. He manages translation projects involving more than 30 languages and supports the team with his expertise.
Mike ceded TourComm to Dominic at the end of 2023, after more than 15 years at the helm. He is now pretending to be retired, although he is still a shareholder and manages specific consulting projects. His four grandchildren, currently aged five to six, take up a good amount of his time, bringing him closer to his original choice of career: a kindergarten teacher.
